President Ray Pearce called the meeting to order at 7:00

OLD BUSINESS: Read and
discussed:
Safety
Shelters were finished with Ray adding solar lights to each one . Erik and
Ray took the shelters to the mountain. Still need a backboard and 5 gals
diesel/sawdust put in each SS along with some trail maps. Web Crk SS SS needs
leveled and need stairs for Pole Creek SS
Races
on Lake
DeSmetwere dismissed as we
would need ice picks on the sleds. The Airport had concerns about spectators and
the runway, so that was dismissed as well. We checked on the fairgrounds again,
but with the sand and such in the snow removal from the city, wouldn’t pass the
Fairgrounds Board. We are going to check with the FS and Meadowlark on having
timed hill climb races. With possible 1st and
2nd
prizes.
Skiidoo
Rebates were discussed and Tony had a list of names that were turned in for the
Club.
Agenda:
Dec. 13th 6:00 pm Christmas Party and short
meeting at Bozeman Trail Steak House Restaurant with Prime Rib. In January we
will discuss where to stage gas at Ranger Creek for March’s ride. Took names for
reservations for the 3 rides. Timed Races at Meadowlark Skii Area in April were
agreed and voted upon Erik 1stJustin 2nd We
will call FS and Jones’ to discuss further.
NEW
BUSINESS:
Buffalo’s Chamber of Commerce sent a letter
wanting to know if we were going to participate in this year’s parade on Dec
3rd. If so the theme is “Frostys WInterland”. It was agreed upon and Don
Pownell, Erik, Layne, Dan, and Ray are in charge of getting it set up. Work on
the float will begin on Dec 1st.
WSSA Annual
raffle tickets were handed out to members. Jan agreed to get more tickets from
WSSA.
Scrap Book
Justin volunteered to get started on it.
Free Style
Demos Justin has friends in MT that called him and would like to perform for
WY. Set date is for Spring of 2013. We may have it either in Buffalo, Sheridan, or Gillette.
Justin and Erik will work on possibly setting something
up.
Demolition
Derby Jeff thought it would be a good activity for the summer time. He’s
going to contact some people and see what it will
entail.
STAKES
Leonard mentioned we need to get all the stakes gathered up from everyone for
the upcoming staking on the mountain.
