Members present: Ray Pearce, , Jan Harnish, Bill Harnish, Eddie Garro, Don Pownell, Layne Qualm, Leonard Pearce
President Ray Pearce called meeting to order at 7:00pm
Minutes were read and approved: Don Pownell 1st Don Pearce 2nd
Treasurer’s Report $5,138.52 Need to pay WYOIL for the punches they paid for thru the Office: $16.76, Jan donated the $26.51 for misc cards, balloons and such, Ray donated $3.68 plus the materials for printing the participation cards for the poker run. $122.00 to be deposited. Approved.. Layne 1st Don Pownell 2nd
OLD BUSINESS
*Stakes: Picked up some of the stakes, still need to go finish picking up the rest by the 15th.
*Poker Run: Bud Flamang took 1st, Ray 2nd,and Erik 3rd place in Poker Run. Ray and Erik gave their winnings to the Club.
*Cook Out: We will advise everyone when Gordys Julys cook out is.
*BiLaws were revised and copys made for anyone who wanted one..
NEW BUSINESS
*Trash Clean: Up Day: Friday the 24th of June at 6:00 pm at Crazy Woman Road. Don Pearce 1st Don Pownell 2nd.
*Safety Shelter: Eddie found a 40’ trailer for the club to buy to convert into another shelter for $1,500.00 .$2,500.00 was the maximum price agreed upon with purchasing it and rebuilding it. It was mentioned to look into getting a grant from the Chamber of Commerce to help pay for it. Bill and Ray will get with Craig Cope to find a place to put it on the east side of the Pass. made the motion to purchase it and Don Pearce 1st and Layne 2nd.
*Raffle: It was agreed upon to have a gun raffle in Aug. Bill will have more information on gun specs at Julys cook out. At that time it will be voted upon. Ray 1st and Bill 2nd
* Poker Run: Ray brought up a good idea for next years Poker Run. It’ll be unmanned and will run throughout the snowmobile season with various businesses having the registration cards. The winners will be announced at the PRSB’s monthly meetings. More to be discussed at a later date.
*Insurance: It was voted upon to get insurance for next season. Jan will look into getting insurance not only for the club but for the officers as well. Don Pearce 1st and Bill 2nd
*Agenda: Agreed upon to get a agenda put together for the Wrangler:
June 24 - Trash pick up day
July - Lake DeSmet Cook Out
Oct 11 – First Meeting; Nov 8 - Reg meeting
Dec 13th meeting and Christmas dinner; Jan - Red Grade to Hi County ride
Feb - Prime Rib Ride
Mar - Pines to Deer Haven Ride
Apr - Timed snowmobile races
*Jan will get in touch with Moses on a possible ride south as well
